The auction shall be on ‘As is where is basis’. To dispose –off unserviceable goods, scrap through GeM Portal. Pre-bid EMD shall be kept, this EMD will be released once the bidder clears all the payment for his successful bidding for respective materials and lift such complete materials. The successful bidder is required to lift the remaining quantity (i.e. surplus quantity) after depositing payment to DPA after weighment. In case of failure to lift the remaining surplus quantity, the EMD shall be forfeited. The weighment shall be carried out on DPA weighbridges installed inside cargo jetty area/Main Stores. Weighment shall be carried out in presence of engineer in charge of the material and CISF personnel. DPA shall issue necessary permit for weighment inside CJA. Party is allowed to cut the big length of iron structure up to 6-meter length only, cutting of iron structure smaller than this size will not be allowed at site. Also Hammering of the materials at site is not allowed. Prior to cutting operation at site fire safety permission from concerned authority of DPA shall be obtained. DPA shall issue necessary permits for transportation of materials out of port area. |
